Changes at the Educational Center

If you haven’t seen it, the April newsletter for the Educational Center (publisher of BibleWorkbench) is available on the Educational Center website.

The Educational Center

The big news is that there is a new Executive Director of Operations at the Center, Becky Rizzo. Board Chair Tillie Tice writes:

I am pleased to announce Becky Rizzo as the new Executive Director of Operations for The Educational Center. Becky’s responsibilities will include general management of all functions of the organization. Most specifically her charges are to: increase the visibility of the organization; promote the work of the Center; strengthen our financial position; and help formalize our fundraising effectiveness.

Becky began her professional career in marketing and sales with IBM following graduation from Bucknell University. She has held several technical marketing management positions. For the last two decades she has been heavily involved in non-profit management and fundraising as Director of Institutional Advancement at Charlotte Country Day School, Executive Director of the North Carolina Dance Theater and served on the Boards of Charlotte Repertory Theatre, the Council on Aging, Dress for Success and more. She participates in BibleWorkbench at her church. She has two sons in graduate school.

Becky brings insights and experience that can move The Educational Center, founded in 1843, forward as we begin our 170th year developing resources for personal spiritual transformation.

We are glad to welcome Becky to the Educational Center! Find out more about the Center and our work at www.educationalcenter.org.
